This scene was played out almost verbatim with a shirttail family member a couple weeks ago. They induced, she "failed to progress," was told her birth canal was too small for the baby, and they C-sectioned. Boom. Just like that. :( When I heard about it, I had a pit in my stomach, like she'd been taken advantage of, raped essentially. But she doesn't know the difference, so what can you do? We lived in Kearney for 12 years before we moved back to Montana in 1986, so it's weird to see you writing about moving to the Kearney / Cozad area. Life takes strange twists and turns.
