The Ins and Outs of Us
My husband of 14 years and I live in the middle of the cornfields of Nebraska. Montanans at heart, this is obviously not our dream home but our family is here so there you have it. So we continue to sweat through the humidity and hold on through the wind day in and day out all the while dreaming of mountains.
Adam is an electronics engineer for a sign company in Lincoln and is a dreamer~a do it yourself type of guy. He loves Jesus with a fierce passion and is my rock.
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner in a rural community which allows me to practice all types of medicine.
We dream of someday having a family (Yes, we are aware that the aging process is rapidly occurring!) and eventually moving back to the mountains but for now relish being close to our precious nieces and nephews. God is good to us and we know it!

Fred and cousins that marry cousins

Having recently returned from Mississippi we are enlightened. By our nieces that is. Kids are so darn smart. First off, before we left my sister jokingly said “so you’re off to the state where cousins marry cousins, eh?”. I made this comment to our nieces down there while visiting. Their reply, “Nooooo, Aunt Shana….That’s Arkansas”.

These past three weeks have been a whirlwind. To top it off Adam had a horrible cold but this past weekend he tried to help out by doing a load of laundry. I came home from seeing a patient in the ER to this….he left an entire pack of kleenex in his pocket!
