How the Carter household measures how much snow we get

Following this storm was a beautiful day with a high of -15 and windchill of -30. This led to much reminiscing of our undergraduate days spent in Havre, Montana where the winter days were usually -30 with wind-chills of -80. And, to think we walked to class!
