bird-cam

Okay, YES we need to get a life…or at least a baby!

But, they are so darn cute! The babies are growing super fast. I have some photos to show how they have changed since they hatched but wanted to get this link posted for now. I read that after about 12 days we should stop petting harassing them so as to avoid startling them and causing them to accidentally take flight before they are truly ready causing them to fall from the nest and be injured. So, Adam rig’d up our very own bird-cam so we could keep spying: http://adamandshana.homeip.net:8082/

Adam snagged this awesome video of Mama feeding the babes:

Two different birdies flew out of the basket hanging on the other side of the porch yesterday and sure enough, there was a partially-done basket in it. I checked it today and it is complete. They are a different bird so I suppose if we have to put up with birds living on our porch at least we get to watch different ones!

  1. That’s awesome! Would it be ok to share this post and the birdcam link with some friends on facebook?

  2. Yes, that is fine! As long as you don’t tell Adam that even though the bird-cam is there I still touched them today!!!!

  3. Can’t wait to see more photos of my new “grandbirdies”. Surely all of their names are Bob related. LOL

  4. You have got to stop touching them!!!!! You are going to scare them and make them jump (try to fly) before for they are ready. And the ground below them is made of concrete.
