Remember that commercial? About the scooters? Too funny. This guy reminds me of that commercial. He was at a four way stop here in town last week in front of me put’zin through just like he was driving a car. I hope that someday when my kids or nieces/nephews take my keys away I’ll at least still drive around in a rascal.
Exchange taken place on our wedding day
It is now 30 years old, an ol’ photo that was laminated and therefore I guess meant to be carried in your wallet and how he ever ended up the one carrying it I cannot recall. Hmmm…. So, given from my older Brother (from where he had it in his wallet for years and years) to my Husband-to-be on our wedding day:
My very own St. Louis Arch
My photo for the new clinic was taken by an older gentleman and his wife. They are the same couple that took the photos at the Fall Ball and have been doing photography in the area for years. When I arrived he asked me if there was anything about me he needed to know. I wasn’t for sure where he was heading with his question….the first thing that came to mind was my eyebrows. Not kidding. I told him that my sister and brothers and I tend to have an issue with our eyebrows shooting up in photos. He said, okay then and went to take the first photo and said very fast and with great wit, “oh my, yes….we do have a St. Louis Arch there, don’t we?!”. I am dead serious. He truly said that. And I laughed and laughed. At least I have a St. Louis Arch. My younger brother can look mean when his eyebrows act up, my older can look constipated, this is how mine can look….just plain ol’ uneven (and I do believe this fine gentleman did a lil’ work on my right St. Louis Arch before he printed this too): oooooohh, and kudos to my CEO and the hospital for the gorgeous ad!!!
For my mom, sister & brothers (red team)
I posted this song a year back or so but need to post it now too (love you xoxo):
The problem with sleeping on the floor
This home IS fully furnished, albeit the bed is a twin. So we brought our guest bedroom queen mattress for the month we are here and have it on the floor in the loft. We quickly discovered the problem with this when we had a bird’s eye view of our dogs’ beds. To them, we bought them another giganto dog bed with pillows and blankets. To them its fair game…I’m counting down the hours to Saturday morning when the Mayflower arrives and puts our bed together and I am up off of the floor away from the fur.
