Today marks the celebration of my wonderful Husband’s birth. As the past two weeks have been horrendously busy (we’ve been at home only 4 days total) I was doubtful I would even get a cake made for him. All he wanted was the infamous dirt cake, a Carter family tradition. I got the cake made but forgot the candles. Grrrr. Never fear~the lighter substituted well!

Just a note on the mountains: we had snow today (enjoy your warm weather). Trying to plant a garden, but when we have to run a heater from the house to keep the lettuce from freezing- the price of salads just went up.

Hey there!!!!! So wonderful to hear from you. I hear you all have been still having some snow. Too funny about your lettuce. Everyone is growing…time flies by! I have been so busy but Kim’s second oldest just graduated from highschool, Valedictorian and I am working on a post and pics for that so check my blog soon!
