Madison asked her older sister if she liked her outfit to which Rebecca promptly replied, “no”. Madison’s response, “are you embarrassed by me?”. This conversation took place on our way to a restaurant.

Cousin Eddy hat, Texting gloves, Reversible shorts, snow boots, Tech hoodie (note the hood strings IN her ears~actually are hooked to her IPOD!)
Everyone giggling after we just finished singing Happy Birthday to Jesus with his cake. Pepe promptly began singing the family tradition “May the dear Lord bless you” (to the same tune as Happy Birthday) which caught everyone off guard. Just sayin’….what do you say, “May the dear Lord bless himself, May the dear Lord bless himself, etc….”
Yes. I know the title of this post leads you to think of children. We are all kids at heart, aren’t we? My brother-in-law has a true passion for this band and always has. This was a dream come true Christmas for him-the snuggie creators really came through for Rick this year.
Cousin Eddy came to visit this year. Disguised as David. Our family has a long standing traidtion of watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation every Thanksgiving. It is a right of passage of sorts. You must be able to recite its entire script by the age of 10 or you are given up for adoption. David received this hat for Christmas. I wouldn’t have been anymore surprised if I woke up the next day with my head sewn to the carpet.
Finally, after losing Nana 18 months ago and almost losing our Pepe more than once we never would have dreamed we would be fortunate enough to have him here now. Let alone in Nebraska to share Christmas with us. Check out these final two photos! We love our Pepe!

Aw! Fun holiday moments! So glad to see people soaking up the family time. It’s precious, super precious, and you almost can’t realize it until it’s gone, even if temporarily.
It does indeed look like ya’ll were soaking up the family time. (I accidentally first typed “sucking up”… hahahaha!)
And I love Maddison’s outfit. Fit right in in Portland.
