I told her that someday when we drop her off at kindergarten her friends are going to ask her if her Grandma and Grandpa brought her to school that day! We aren’t that old, but we aren’t spring chicks either! We’ve had aches and pains from holding the dear little one! One night after bringing Lainey home, Adam lay on the bed with the TENS unit hooked up to his back! Another day I went to the chiropractor for my neck. Above and beyond our age, though is the fact that we are flat out of shape! I recommend that anyone that is going to have a baby try to plan ahead and be as physically fit as possible!

And, then there is this….this is the best! This is two-fold. Not only are we first-time parents and terrified we are going to chop her fingers off (for the record, I did nick her the first time I trimmed her!), but being on the older side, our vision isn’t quite as crisp as it used to be. Adam came out of his office wearing these last week and went to work!
