Brain Freeze

Strange thing:
I have two friends who claim to never have had a brain freeze. This shocks me-I thought everyone had brain freezes, especially with those icee thingys!
The Ins and Outs of Us
My husband of 14 years and I live in the middle of the cornfields of Nebraska. Montanans at heart, this is obviously not our dream home but our family is here so there you have it. So we continue to sweat through the humidity and hold on through the wind day in and day out all the while dreaming of mountains.
Adam is an electronics engineer for a sign company in Lincoln and is a dreamer~a do it yourself type of guy. He loves Jesus with a fierce passion and is my rock.
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner in a rural community which allows me to practice all types of medicine.
We dream of someday having a family (Yes, we are aware that the aging process is rapidly occurring!) and eventually moving back to the mountains but for now relish being close to our precious nieces and nephews. God is good to us and we know it!

Quick update on Philly’s diet. He is doing well but eating a TON of paper. My gosh, we’ve never seen anything like it! In these pictures he is shaved. He was um…how should I say it…having a little difficulty with hygiene due to his size so off went the fur!

We are four vastly different people. We each live in different cities and lead lives that are very different from one another.

On Saturday night I had the privilege of watching a rocket take off. At 10:53 pm NASA launched the “Kepler”…a rocket in search of other habitable planets. My siblings, mother and I went down to the beach and were literally wading in the ocean when we saw it.
